Ming Ying reinvented herself as a Coach & HR Practitioner after taking time off to raise her 3 sons through their formative years. Her work experience spans operations in the hospitality industry, change management in the textile and garment industry and learning development in building materials manufacturing. She also oversees the full spectrum of HR activities in a small and medium enterprise, functioning primarily as HR Business Partner.

Also, a recreational endurance athlete and budding bass guitarist, she has been described as a great encourager and a catalyst for positive change. She is guided by the belief that each person is so much more than we think we are. There is so much unrealized potential that begs guided reflection and powerful coaching questions to draw out.

Ming Ying is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and she partners with StrengthsAsia. She is also a REFRAME Coach. She graduated from the International Coach Academy’s Certified Professional Coach Program on 7th December 2007. She received the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation from the International Coach Federation (ICF) on 22nd July 2008.

Ming Ying's tool of choice is the CliftonStrengths (StrengthsFinder) assessment. She is committed to journey with, empower and energize leaders, managers, and executives to build Strengths-based high performing individuals and teams.

Ming Ying is a Coach and Trainer and have facilitated and coached in organizations such as GlaxoSmithKline, National University of Singapore, AIA, Economic Development Board (EDB), and many others.

She is also a Certified Halftime Coach. She is also accredited to administer a variety of profile tools (Benchmarks 360 Degree Feedback, Hogan Assessments, Caliper Assessments, Strong Interest Inventory, Emergenetics, Workplace Big 5, Reiss Motivation Profile).

Ming Ying is an alumnus of the University of Denver. She is a wife, mother to 3 sons, recreational endurance athlete, avid reader & a budding bassist.
