Carolyn Chan is a Chinese American who has lived in Asia over 20 years. Passionate about people and intently curious about diversity, her mission is to foster awareness for self and an understanding for others. Through exploration of talent and discovering what makes individuals unique , she empowers them to lead from strengths toward building impactful and sustainable leadership. Carolyn is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach.

Her work experience covers Human Resources, Executive Search, Leadership Education and Executive Coaching. Most recently, as a Partner with Heidrick & Struggles, she ço-launched the Women’s Corporate Directors çhapter in Singapore chapter. Previously as Director of Strategic Alliances and Partnerships with Center for Creative Leadership, the first Womens Leadership Program for Asia was piloted. As Vice President with A.T.Kearney, she opened the executive search office in Singapore. Other organizational positions included Human Resources at Walmart Global Sourcing, Associated Merchandising Corp. and Esprit de Corp in the USA.

Originally from Boston MA, Carolyn has lived and worked in New York, Hong Kong, Shenzhen China and currently resides in Singapore with her husband and two teenage sons. She serves on the General Committee at the American Club Singapore and held previous roles on the Nominating Committee for the American Chamber of Commerce, American Association and is a member and Past President of the Univ. of Chicago Alumni club in Singapore. Carolyn holds an MBA from the Univ. of Chicago Booth School of Business and BS degree from Univ. of Massachusetts., spending an exchange year at the Chinese Univ. of Hong Kong. She speaks English, Cantonese with working knowledge of Mandarin.
