The common challenge that all leaders face is how to manage people from diverse backgrounds and inspire and energize them to be collaborative, high performing teams.
Through LEGO Serious Play Leadership Development, we give leaders the capability and framework on how they can better articulate and express their thoughts, challenges and goals of leading a team. The methodology breaks down big, complex issues into metaphorical, simplified 3-dimensional models.
LEGO Serious Play Leadership Development can be used to help leaders in many different areas including bridging the gap between senior managers and front liners, lead across geographical boundaries and how to build a more collaborative and cohesive teams.

FRAMEWORK
In every LEGO® Serious Play® workshop, we use the following framework:
- CHALLENGE: We issue a challenge in a form of a question according to objectives of the client.
- BUILD: Participants will have to answer the question through assembling LEGO® bricks together.
- SHARE: Everyone will be given equal airtime to share their models.
- REFLECT: Participants will reflect on the model and learning for that particular challenge.
HOW WE USE LEGO SERIOUS PLAY LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
SAFE SPACE
Every play is facilitated by a certified LEGO® Serious Play® coach. We create a safe space for leaders to voice their thoughts and challenge each other. We facilitate feedback and exchanges between leaders so that they can learn from each other.
3-DIMENSIONAL THINKING
Leaders will be challenged to think with their hands as they create 3-D LEGO® models that represent their thoughts. Through hands-on design thinking, a lot more layers and important details can be revealed in a story.
SIMPLE GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Leaders create simple guiding principles that guides them in making decision and communicating with their peers and subordinates.

Leaders get clarity on the direction they would like to set for their team and how to articulate in a way that is easy for peers and subordinates to envision and understand.

Leaders become self-aware of who they are at their very best, their unique leadership style and their purpose and motivations that can help them to be a better leader.
Rich and Difficult Conversations
Leaders learn how to communicate effectively with team members. Leaders acquire the ability and gain confidence in engaging in difficult conversations, achieve constructive dialogue with peers and subordinates.
The team delved into challenging topics but in such a fun way that we were surprised with the revelations gained by the end of the day. I likened this program to reading a novel; we are introduced to different interesting sub plots, leading up to a climatic end.
Kim Pong has the talent of making the message of his courses come alive. He made an impact on my team, who came away pleasantly surprised how powerful Kim Pong was able to convey his lessons.
